→ Casa Limone is a vision currently being developed by POSITIF STUDIO: a place in Northern Italy where architecture, design, art, and craft come together to explore new ways of working, learning, and living together.

The project begins with the reactivation of an existing, unused structure. Rather than following a fixed design, Casa Limone is conceived as an ongoing process of building upon what is already there—working with the existing architecture, available materials, local knowledge, and the people who contribute to its development.

As a place for working, making, and learning, Casa Limone aims to bring together a network of different disciplines and perspectives. Residencies, workshops, and collaborative projects create space for artistic and design practice, hands-on learning, research, and knowledge exchange. The building and its surroundings become a field for experimentation and design in their own right.

Casa Limone acts as an interface between local structures and an international network of designers, artists, architects, craftspeople, and students. Knowledge is shared, developed further, and tested through concrete projects on site.

Over time, Casa Limone will grow into an open and adaptable infrastructure for design and cultural production—a place that is never considered finished, but continues to evolve through use, exchange, and collaboration.

Casa Limone ist eine Vision, an der POSITIF STUDIO aktuell arbeitet: die Entwicklung eines Ortes in Norditalien, an dem Architektur, Design, Kunst und Handwerk aufeinandertreffen und neue Formen des Arbeitens, Lernens und Zusammenlebens erprobt werden können.

Ausgangspunkt ist die Reaktivierung einer bestehenden, ungenutzten Struktur. Statt eines fertigen Entwurfs entsteht Casa Limone als fortlaufender Prozess des Weiterbauens – mit dem Bestand, den vorhandenen Materialien, dem Wissen der Region und den Menschen, die sich einbringen.

Als Arbeits-, Produktions- und Lernort soll Casa Limone ein Netzwerk unterschiedlicher Disziplinen und Perspektiven zusammenbringen. Residencies, Workshops und gemeinsame Projekte schaffen Raum für künstlerische und gestalterische Praxis, handwerkliches Lernen, Forschung und Wissenstransfer. Das Gebäude und seine Umgebung werden dabei selbst zum Gegenstand des Experimentierens und Gestaltens.

Casa Limone versteht sich als Schnittstelle zwischen lokalen Strukturen und einem internationalen Netzwerk aus Gestalterinnen, Künstlerinnen, Architektinnen, Handwerkerinnen und Studierenden. Wissen wird ausgetauscht, weiterentwickelt und durch konkrete Projekte vor Ort erprobt.

So entsteht schrittweise eine offene und wandelbare Infrastruktur für Gestaltung und kulturelle Produktion – ein Ort, der nicht fertig gedacht ist, sondern sich durch Nutzung, Austausch und Zusammenarbeit kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt.
